Woodcarving

Woodcarving in (church) interiors or as decorative elements on buildings, ships, or historic structures.

It all begins with a sketch – a first idea captured on paper. This sketch evolves into a detailed drawing where shapes and lines come to life. The drawing is then transferred onto the wood, which consists of a solid block made from laminated pieces. With precision and craftsmanship, the final form is carefully carved out of the wood using chisels, step by step. The result is a unique piece, shaped by hand and guided by an eye for detail.
